What Can I Do With Broken Crayons?
With two kids around (and both love art), I’ve managed to accumulate a lion’s share of crayons. Many are broken and peeled, and some are quite small.
As usual I assume there is something I can do with this bucket ‘o crayons, but I have no idea what.
Calling all creative moms — What can I DO with all these broken crayons?

Make ‘Crayon Cup Cakes’ as my son calls them. You can either take all the crayons and melt them in a tin can that is sitting in boiling water then pour them into the little paper cupcake holder OR you can put the unmelted crayons into the paper cupcake holder in a cupcake tray then put it into the over at a temp high enough to melt.
Then they can use the crayons again in a cupcake form! And kids love to melt their crayons down

Just exactly what I was going to say - kids love the big chunky crayons. It’s also fun, because you can combine colors and have a multi-color giant crayon.
You can also use old crayons in art projects - glue them to make letters, numbers or shapes. Great way to help with tactile learning.
